"CRC" is now a three
story home consisting of two self contained apartments...all with
breathtaking views of the ocean and offshore islands.
The ground floor consists of one bedroom,
with a full bath and kitchen, large covered patio and open deck. The
second floor now has a dining/living room with a double futon, full bath
and kitchen and a large balcony overlooking the sea (a favorite place to
catnap or spend the whole
night!). Up the stairs to the third floor and you are in the new large
master bedroom with a full bathroom where you can shower as you watch
the pelicans dive. There are thirty foot ceilings and a huge balcony for
sunbathing and stargazing.
It is located just steps from a sparkling
white sand beach with a one hundred and eighty degree view of shimmering
blue, green waters, offshore islands and breathtaking sunsets. In winter
the best surf break in the Caribbean is 100 yards down the beach..
Just down the road from CRC
are fine local restaurants and the weekly Friday night fish fry under
the Banyan Tree.
Apple Bay is also home to the "Sugar
Mill" which houses a beach bar and restaurant and a gourmet
restaurant open for dinner within the ruins of an old sugar mill. And
the food has to be good ..the place is owned by two writers for "
BON APPETIT" magazine!
Down the beach is one of the most famous
bars in the Caribbean, "Bomba’s
Surfside Shack", with Bomba’s
OUTRAGEOUS "Full Moon"
parties every month; Equally
outrageous,
Bomba Punch available
anytime, and BBQ’s every Wednesday and Sunday.
A Caribbean Paradise in the British
Virgin Islands...the island of Tortola is within easy reach of the US
mainland via either San Juan, Puerto Rico or St. Thomas. American Eagle
and other carriers connect from San Juan to Tortola. Ferries run
regularly from St. Thomas to Tortola’s West End. It’s a beautiful
fifty minute boat ride, followed by a five minute cab ride to
Chateau Relaxeau
